Holiday Antipasto Wreath

The holiday season is a time for merriment, laughter, and, of course, scrumptious food. As you prepare for festive gatherings with family and friends, it’s the perfect opportunity to get creative in the kitchen. With a heavy meal on the horizon, this healthy and light appetizer will tide over your guests without overfilling them.

I hosted Christmas dinner with my family last year, and I served this beautiful Antipasto Wreath as an appetizer to nibble on while we exchanged gifts. It was almost too pretty to eat, but it was thoroughly devoured. Everyone was overjoyed to spend time together, eat and be merry. Are you hosting a party over the holidays? This Antipasto Wreath is a winner. It features salami, pickled vegetables, cheese and herbs. With its festive colors, it’s so beautiful that it doubles as an edible arrangement or centerpiece for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Cherry Tomatoes

  • 4 Oz. Salami

  • 8 Oz. Mini Bocconcini (Fresh Mozzarella Balls)

  • 1/2 Pound Mixed Greek Olives

  • 1 Bunch of Basil

  • 1 Cup Mini Dill Pickles

  • 1 Cup Pepperoncini

  • 2 Bunches of Rosemary

  • Balsamic Glaze

  • 30 6 inch Bamboo Skewers

Directions

  • Alternate threading tomatoes, olives, salami, bocconcini, basil, pepperoncini and dill pickles onto skewers.
  • Arrange sprigs of rosemary on a round platter in a circle. Place skewers on top of rosemary.
  • Place Balsamic glaze in a ramekin in the center of the wreath, or drizzle over the top.
