School Drop-off Wardrobe

Well, it’s that time of year again… the kids are back to school, and I’m back to the regular hustle and bustle of every day life as a stay at home Mom of three little dumplings. Next year, I will be an empty nester, as my youngest, Oxford, will be starting Kindergarten. These days, I feel more like a Bus Driver, getting them back and forth from their various activities and school.
I would describe my style to be cozy chic. I’m on the go all the time, so I need something comfortable and versatile. That being said I also like to feel put together, and not like I just rolled out of bed. I begin each day with a bath or shower to wake me up and get me ready for the day, which is key to looking and feel my best.
I love a matching sweatsuit because it’s effortless and comfortable, and is the perfect canvas to build from. To elevate a basic sweatsuit, I like to wear a dressier overcoat with a pop of color. This long-sleeved, hooded cardigan in emerald green is the perfect accent color to add to any Fall wardrobe.
I find that I can’t go aware without a comfy pair of runners that seamlessly take me from the gym, to the grocery store, as well as after school activities. This pair of Adidas sneakers is the perfect neutral for any outfit and has a pop of gold to dress them up a bit.
This over-sized black leather tote by Bostanten is made from genuine leather and is the perfect catch all for anything and everything I have to lug around with me these days. Let’s face it, on any given day you’ll find water bottles, snacks, cosmetics, wallet, phone, paperwork, stationary and other knickknacks tucked away deep in the recesses of my purse. There’s no telling what you’ll find in there, but with the side pockets I am able to stay organized and find things a little easier.
In the mornings, I find the sun super blinding when dropping the kids off at school. It has become imperative that I bring my sunnies with me for the morning commute. These Ray Bans are tres chic with a metallic frame in gold and brown gradient lens, making them the perfect shades for a Mom on the go.
Finally, I can’t forget to mention this fabulous Stanley Quencher that I carry with me everywhere at all times. It’s so important to stay hydrated when I’m on the go, and I love that this Tumbler fits perfectly in my cup holder.
So, there you have it… my Fall wardrobe in a nutshell! Stay tuned for more Fall looks to come.
