Wonka Lavender Hot Chocolate Bombs
When I think of unforgettable characters from children’s literature, Violet Beauregard comes first to mind. Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” introduced us to a world of pure imagination, and at the center of it all is Violet Beauregard. Known most notably as the gum chewing, fearless and tenacious girl who transforms into a blueberry. She has an insatiable appetite for life’s adventures and a competitive drive to be the best at whatever she does.
Violet’s transformation into a blueberry is one of the most memorable moments of the entire movie. It’s a pivotal turning point that teaches a valuable lesson about the consequences of over indulgence and greed. This transformation teaches us the importance of moderation and balance in life. Through her competitive spirit, she teaches us perseverance and resilience. Her character teaches children that it’s okay to be bold and unapologetically themselves, and to not be afraid to stand out from the crowd.
With the upcoming prequel, Wonka, being released in theaters this coming November, I was inspired to create something to honor, Violet. She left a lasting impression on me over the years, and was my favorite character from the Original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. To me she was more than just a gum-chewing brat. She was a self determined, confident, and courageous kid who taught me many life lessons. So, here you have it… my Violet Beauregard Hot Chocolate Bomb.
